Work With Us

Company culture

At SMPnet, we encourage people to keep communications open, talk to each other and have empathy for others at the heart of our engagement, whether that’s among your team, with other departments in the company or dealing with clients. We believe in being collaborative, open and adaptable in everything we do.

Collaborative

From shared Drives and to open inboxes, we choose tools that encourage transparency and help us collaborate. We believe everything is better when others contribute, so share little and often, and are never afraid to ask for feedback.

Open

We practice radical transparency - and promote the idea that companies should be honest, open, and straightforward. We choose openness by default rather than keeping certain details behind closed doors because we're all in it together, from fundraising to company strategy, hiring and team culture.

Adaptable

Embracing adaptability empowers us to seek better solutions, learn from experiences, and continuously improve our processes, products, and services. At SMPnet, being adaptable doesn't signify indecisiveness but rather a willingness to evolve for our team and customers' greater good.

Our tech

At SMPnet, we build what doesn’t yet exist. Our team is redefining what’s possible in autonomous power grid management—designing the world’s first technologies to dynamically optimise and control grids in real-time, across both cloud and edge environments.  Leveraging a tech stack that spans containerised microservices, protocol-agnostic data interfaces, physics-based digital twins, elastic data models,  adaptive optimisation algorithms, and real-time control engines, we go beyond integrating known technologies—we invent them.

At the heart of our R&D efforts is our Digital Grid Lab, a purpose-built testbed in Athens equipped with substation-grade servers, PMUs, IoT infrastructure and real-time simulators. This lab enables millisecond-level validation of real-time applications—pushing the envelope in grid virtualisation and control.  If you’re passionate about building the future, not just maintaining the present, SMPnet is where real impact happens.
